Jesse's El Taco De Mexico

"Really simple, cheap, yet delicious Mexican food Asada tacos were my favorite. The meat is seasoned heavily, and on the salty side(which I prefer). Burritos are a decent size, with only rice, beans, salsa, and meat. The other meats were okay, mostly just marinated. This place really reminds me of a Tijuana taco shop. The only other spot I'd recommend outside of this one, is The Taco Shop off of Saviers (better meat quality, and fresh tortillas). Overall, I'd say this place ranks second in Oxnard for tacos."

"Small hard working people at the helm. Very few seats so be prepared to take food with you even if that was not the intended plan. The beans were super interesting and delicious."

"Love the environment and food , in my opinion this place is the best to get burritos and if you have time in the morning , they you should try the chilaquiles . Its a breakfast item so you have to get it in the morning but man do i love this place and all the love they put in that food ."

"Simply the best and customer service is so sweet. I appreciate that they have mastered the classics- beans are delicious, rice perfectly seasoned, asada seasoned and charred to perfection, and topped with their delicious salsa. Also have great breakfast burritos."

"Stopped in for a quick lunch, this is a no-frills taco shop, serving good food on paper plates, just what I was looking for. The sign of a good taco shop is determined by the meat they serve, Cabeza is a good sign, Lengua is a bonus. Jesse's does them both and they do them well. I look at the meat to connective tissue ratio and Jesse's is mostly meat. Both were very tender and with a good flavor. Classically served with onions and cilantro with a salsa verde and tortillas with a slight sweetness. It was all good, being from San Diego, I had to put my expectations on a lower level. If these were served in San Diego I would give them a 4 out of 5. The drawbacks would be too many onions, the tortillas and they didn't have Mexican Coke (Coke in a glass bottle). All in all I would eat here again, hopefully on a weekend so I can try the Menudo."

"One of my top 3s but for sure hands down to JESSES TDM for bringing that fast quick on the run burrito. When it comes to Jesse and another taqueria Jesse always makes me turn right and just stop there because there is never any disappointment. For sure Jesse never fails with Satisfaction and Fullness. Unique hard shell taco platters no doubt! Best thing is the humble people, the atmosphere always clean. They make that order with love, cleaninsess and wellness all the time.
